The reason for this was that we did not have a direct export service established from Atlanta. With the trucking prices continuing to rise due to fuel increases and lesser competition in the industry, our pricing for export airfreight moves has increased as well thus making our pricing less competitive in the market. However, this has all changed...Star Asia is excited to announce that we have finalized negotiations with China Airlines and now offer a direct airfreight export service from Atlanta to various destinations through out the world. Thanks to this new contract negotiated locally here in Atlanta, Star Asia now offers some of the most competitive pricing in the market available for your export moves from Atlanta via a direct service. Signing the contract directly with China Airlines locally in Atlanta also helps to assure our customers space and competitive pricing at all times. China Airlines currently has four freighter flights each week with departures on Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays to assist in assuring the quickest possible departure of your export shipments. These flights move direct to Taipei, Taiwan were they are then transshipped to the destination of your choice!
